Last month Starbucks added almond, coconut, and oat milks to its menu. Now, following the introduction of plant-based milks at Starbucks, the coffee joint is introducing plant-based breakfast sandwiches made with Beyond Meat.

Before you get too excited, Beyond Meat is only making its way to Starbucks locations in Canada for now, and the plant-based patties will be hitting about 1,200 stores according to Reuters. The sandwich will feature a Beyond Meat patty, cheddar cheese, and an egg on an artisan bun. The other toppings mean that the sandwich as a whole isn't vegan-friendly, but the patty is a good start for those trying to eat less meat.

Forbes says that the meatless patty is still flavored in a way that is in line with traditional Starbucks flavors. The patty uses herbs and spices like oregano, basil, rosemary, and fennel to achieve a level of taste that Starbucks is proud of.

This is the first imitation meat product that Starbucks has sold, and it's likely that if the Canadian launch sees success, we'll be getting Beyond Meat breakfast sandwiches in the United States, too—or even worldwide.

Until then, if you're really jonesing for a Beyond Meat-based breakfast, you'll have to hit up Dunkin' for its Beyond Sausage sandwich to check that box. If you're reading from Canada, though, you can get your Starbucks Beyond Meat sandwich starting March 3. That makes you one of the lucky ones, eh?
